Privacy policy
The short version: I only use your details to reply to you, and I never sell them.
Who I am
Weel Kent Studio is a sole trader based in Glasgow, Scotland. I’m responsible for any personal information you send me through this website. You can contact me at [email protected].
What I collect
Only the details you choose to send me through the contact form or by email: your name, email address, business name, any link you share and your message. Nothing else is collected about you.
Why I use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to provide the services you ask for. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in replying to people who contact me, and taking steps you’ve asked for before entering into a contract.
Who processes it for me
- Formspree delivers contact form messages to my inbox. Formspree is based in the US; transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses.
- Google (Gmail) stores my email.
- Cloudflare hosts this website, protects it from attacks and provides cookie-free visitor statistics that collect no personal identifiers.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, or as long as needed for a client relationship and for legal or tax records (invoices are kept for 6 years).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask me to:
- give you a copy of the information I hold about you (access)
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your information
- stop or restrict using it, or object to how it’s used
- send it to you or someone else in a common format (portability)
Email [email protected] and I’ll respond within one month. If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
What I don’t do
- I don’t sell or share your data.
- I don’t add you to marketing lists.
